I am very enthusiastic about the ST Content Showcase module except for 2 details.

I purchased the pro version and have the module set up the way that I want. It is also grabbing the images as designed. The two issues:

1. Is there any way to like the image to the article. Instead of just having the image open in a new tab?

2. For some reason the article ID is being appedended to the link (instead of the article link.html). for the article in the showcase. This throws my seo off and results in a 404 for that link if it is clicked. Is there a way to get rid of that. Without the ID, the link works fine. I am not a coder so I would not know the first place to look.

Link are right underneath and the module below that.

2. Open the mod_st_content_showcase/models/article/article.php at line 75

change 
$item->link = 'index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id='.$item->id;

to 
$item->link = JRoute::_(ContentHelperRoute::getArticleRoute($item->slug, $item->catid));

1. At line 112 change this
$item->image_large = $images->image_intro;

to
$item->image_large = JRoute::_(ContentHelperRoute::getArticleRoute($item->slug, $item->catid));
