When i try to configure the slider, then appears a wrong path to the image folder:

Image not found: http://localhost/mysite//images\frontsliders/1.jpg

there are two "//" after the site name and furthermore after the images folder the "/" converts to "\"

please advice
The administrator has disabled public write access.

On front side. Total slider is black and appears only the wrong url path
